So how was everyone’s 4th of July weekend? Wonderful, I hope! Mine was awesome. I spent most of it with Gene’ve & Michael, which was pretty much amazing. We went to our town’s local fireworks show and had so much fun, and I burnt myself like 10 million times on sparklers, lol. Then yesterday I went to go see my Granny, whom I love. And today I uploaded a new YouTube cover, so please check it out! =D I’m going to the gym later today, so I’m super excited because I wanna lose some weight!
Todays topic is once again Michael Jackson. I’m sorry for those of yuo who don’t like him, just skip on down to the next paragraph, and I’ll be done, I swear. =) I just want to recognize how he is truly the King of Pop. It’s such a sad thing that he had to die at such a young age, and when he had so much ahead of him. A UK tour that was the set to break records. Wow. He was such an amazing man, and he’s accomplished more than anyone will probably ever do again. So my questions are: What do you think of Michael’s legend? Do you think anyone could ever accomplish near as much as he has? How was your fourth of July?

I can’t believe it’s been over a WEEK since I last updated! I’m so sorry. =( It’s not even like I’ve been busy, just lazy. I’ve been going out a lot lately on the weekends, so I’ll start blogging more on the weekdays when I get home from school. =D So how’s everyone’s week been? Great, I hope! I went to the Taste of Chicago (food festival) with Gene’ve & Michael & his Mom on Sunday, and I spent the night at Gene’ve’s house on Friday night and went to her Granny’s (who coincidentally attended my parent’s wedding 28 bajillion years ago) house with her on Saturday. So my weekend was pretty busy, haha. And yesterday I wrote my first song EVER on guitar, so I’m pretty excited about it, lol.
So the topic for this blog is Music! I’m pretty much obsessed with it, and have been since I was just about born. I’m really devastated that the King of Pop, Michael Jackson died last week. My parents were huge Jackson 5 & Michael Jackson fans while I was growing up, and it was the only thing I’d heard when it came to music in the house for a long time. So my question to you is: Who are your favorite artists? Favorite songs? Were you a fan of Michael? I’d love to hear your answers, guys! Well, I’m off to return comments and get some work done! =D

Hello all! Last time we talked I was getting ready for the big day — my BIRTHDAY! Lol. I did get my guitar, and it’s absolutley amazing. I love it. She’s an Ibanez. Here’s the picture from my Twitter. I’m currently attempting to play Crazier by Taylor Swift, so if I ever get it down and find the patience, I’ll upload it to my YouTube.
So today’s topic is body piercings. I really want to get my nose pierced when I’m older. Just one little stud. I know I’m too young now, and I’d probably cry if my Mom even let me do it, lol. Right now the only thing I’ve ever had pierced are my ears, and I can barely convince her to let me get my cartilage pierced. A lot of people freak out when they see young girls with body piercings (e.g. 16 year olds with nose piercings or belly button rings, etc.) So my questions for you all are 1. What do you think about body piercings? Yay or nay? 2. Do you think girls older than 16 should be allowed to have them? 3. Do you have any? If so, how many and where?

Let me start off by saying I’m officially addicted to One Tree Hill. It’s the most awesome show, probably ever created. Now that we have that aside, the site is FINALLY OPEN! True, I applied & got it yesterday, but I’ve been building up to this moment for a while, lol. I absolutely love the layout, and I worked really hard on all the content, so I hope whoever is reading/looking at this likes it. I will be blogging often, at least twice a week while school is out. But I am taking a summer class (unfortunately) at the high school I’m going to be attending in the fall.
But in other news, my birthday is tomorrrow! Yay! I’ll be 14, and I pretty much already know what I’m getting, since we’re going to go buy it tomorrow, lol. I’m getting a brand new guitar with the works. A strap, capo, case, and everything. I’m so excited. First I’m going to class, of course, but afterwards I’m going to breakfast with my Mom and best friend, Gene’ve. By 1:00-ish I should be home and ready to blog about everything that went down, lol.
So in conclusion to this boring post, I’ll ask a question to keep everyone interested in commenting.
